Big Leaguer Tommy Joseph becomes an ambassador
B45 is proud to announce that Big Leagues first baseman Tommy Joseph joins the company as a Brand Ambassador and that his game bat, the RK23 model, will now become the TJ19 model for both professional and amateur markets.
Joseph played his first Major League season in 2016, during which he started using B45 Yellow Birch Premium baseball bats. It didn’t take long before the rising power hitter was convinced by the high-quality standards of the company based in Quebec City, Canada. After a few discussions with the B45 team, he decided to jump on board and started promoting the brand.
“The first bat I got from B45 came out perfect. The wood was exactly the way I wanted it, the bat was the way I wanted it and the rest is history,” explained the Phoenix-native, who was a second-round draft pick by San Francisco in 2009.
Joseph, who will turn 26 in July, is amazed by the durability of B45’s Yellow Birch bats.
“Birch is going to last a long time. It uses to get harder and stronger the more you use it and it’s awesome. I started using B45 at the beginning of 2016 and since then I’ve only broken five bats,” says Joseph.
“We are very happy to add Tommy to our team because he is a promising young player who loves our bats and represents perfectly our business values on and off the field,” declares B45 Chairman and former Big Leagues pitcher Éric Gagné.
At his first season as a Big Leaguer, Joseph smashed 21 home runs and collected 47 RBI in 107 games with Philadelphia.
